Spotlight Searching in Entourage

I upgaded to Tiger and noticed that the new Spotlight feature doenst seem to search and index entourage as it does mail. I was wondering if there is a hack/trick to fix this? I tried fooling with the spotlight preferences but was not able to make it work. I had also heard that if you move the entourage mail db file to the desktop that it would work - but i tried that too... any thoughts?

Nup, spotlight cannot index Entourage at all cause MS uses a big database file to store email rather than individual files so Spotlight can't get in there to have a look - it also means that if one part of that database gets corrupted you face the possibility of losing all your mail, in my opinion it's a bit silly.

Spotlight and Mail are great though, love being able to just type in a few words and BAM they're there.

My work uses MS exchange so i am sort of stuck with entourage
oh well.. maybe microsoft will build a plug-in for Spotlight... one can only hope

Yep i would kill for that functionality too
