Hi everyone!
I have some trouble with my Spotlight.
Almost every time I search for something with Spotlight I get the results but already during the process of searching and after that the whole system is unusably slow. When I checked the activity monitor I saw that Spotlight uses about 1.3GB of real(!!!) memory. I thought that might be some weird indexing stuff that's going on but the Spotlight icon doesn't show an applicable status (the magnifying glass with the dot).
Did anybody have a similar problem so far and knows a solution to that?
It kinda sux since Spotlight is a great tool but I haven't been using it for ages.

A yeah, btw. I have a Mac Book Pro 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

Thanks for your help in advance!
