So, I bought my Mac Mini about 2.5 months ago and have been very happy except for one thing: Spotlight. It seems to work great, except it doesn't seem to index new files, so I have to keep reindexing for it to be up to date. For example, I could create a text file named "party.txt" and type the word "party" in it and save it on the desktop. When I go to Spotlight and type "party" the file won't show up. This continues to happen if I wait days or weeks. It just doesn't like to index new files. Anyone know a solution?

Hopefully it'll be able to find this file: com.apple.spotlight.plist, so that you can delete it, restart and then maybe reindex again. :)

Good luck with it all.
