Why doesn't spotlight search everywhere ?

This includes the Preferences and/or Caches folder within your home folder's Library..

These folders are not excluded, but depending on the search criteria they are searchable from within library folder sometimes, other times one must manually go into these folders first, then search again to find related files (eg to an application for example, mostly happens with third party apps because if u use Apple apps, they seem to always "work")

You may, or may not want to always delete related files, so Apple may be doing good here, but what is the reason for not showing them in the first place ?

Yeah... this started with Mavericks for some reason and is known issue.

I just use a third party app like iFileX instead of Finder for searches like that to avoid the hassle of having t search repeatedly in all those folders.
