I posted a thread on here about Apple removing Cover Flow and my dismay. Some people agreed and others disagreed stating in essence that Apple knows best and good riddance as they never used that feature. Well I seem to have found another problem area and that is spotlight.
I used to use that feature quite often to pull up files. What used to be a couple of letters to bring up often used files and folders, well now they don't. Whole file names can bring them up only to be placed at the bottom of the list. Now you click on the folder your looking for and the files pop up in no order whatsoever, not by date not by alphabet just a random bunch of files. When I first used it it seemed to work so well I thought it was a form of A.I. I find it useless now and I am dissapointed that Apple can act so capriciously with their decisions on system software. My first mac was the white iBook running OS9, that was around 2000. OSX came out and I loaded that and never looked back. I shouldn't say that as I do miss Aqua, the colored gumdrops always made me hungry.I say this to let you know I had a few Apple products over the years. This is the first version of OSX I am not real enthusiastic about. Actually one could even say disapointed.
