Saw this on my travels.

I think you spotted an iphone with one of the many different colored housing pieces off of ebay, or a colorware customization.

He's not referring to a case.

He was saying that it was LITERALLY another iPhone back bought on eBay, which replaces the old white/black one.

And Colorware is a professional coloring company who specialize in electronics, and they color the original piece and it looks spot on in terms of authenticity.

eh, if you look closely to the photo around the camera lens, it doesnt seem to match the photo of the ebay item. Almost looks like the back casing on the one in this thread has been replaced
 
Colorware add there logo at the bottom.

Its a replacement back made in china, found on ebay.

I beg to differ....

If you look closely at the original post the side buttons are clearly flush with the green material... and the camera has the chrome bevel around it.... none of the examples that have been posted as alternatives have either or both of these qualities.

I can't say i think it is real as its a grotesque green... but its a pretty impressive job if not real.
 
Those saying it is a case need their eyes checked. Look at the volume rocker and silent switch (alongside the camera). I doubt this is a new color that Apple is bringing out but I do believe the actual casing was replaced with this new casing. It is not at all a hard case that overlays the original case.

Actually the post above yours links to a new casing and not a hard case :)

It looks to me very much like the linked replacement cases on ebay. I think they look pretty good too!

Judging by the poor photoshop glow job on the Macbook, I'm pretty sure this is 100% altered.
