Spotty 3G?

I have an AT&T iPhone 4S. I've noticed randomly my data will stop working, but my phone still shows full service. Other iPhones around me are working so I'm sure it's not the carrier. Has anyone had an issue like this? What's the fix?

Yes, it's happened off and on ever since my very first original iPhone.

If the other iPhones are on a different carrier you can't really compare to them. Mine can be hit and miss at times depending on my location and peak hours.

There are other AT&T iPhones working in the area so I've deducted it must be some kind of bug. Anyone have any luck with this?

It has happened to me on AT&T and Verizon, but only for a very short time. I'm sure it has happened for most people. I wouldn't worry about it unless it lasts for a long time.
