Ok I've been having this problem, just started today and this is my first post on these forums. Anyway the problem is with my Jailbroken 2nd gen iPod touch with iOS 4.1. I first noticed this problem earlier today when YouTube was crashing repeatedly. After I decided it just might be some random thing going on I just left it alone and went to watch some tv on netflix. If you have netflix you probably know that it takes half an hour to load (unless there's something very wrong with my iPod) so I went to into a show and started watching when suddenly it stopped. I thought that maybe it was just buffering so I waited and when it didn't load I just pressed the "done" button and left the show. I restarted the video and found that it ended at the exact same time as it did last time (probably just something wrong with the server I thought so). So I went to the next episode, this time the same result except the video stopped at about 5 seconds through. After I again tried to restart the video it instead crashed. I was kinda angry at my iPod at this point so I decided to do some searching on what was going wrong. That ended quickly, as my iPod went into safe mode! I restarted it a few times and decide that it was pointless because springboard would crash on the lock screen so I have been in safe mode ever since and am posting on the forum right now with my iPod in safe mode. Someone help me fix this reoccurring issue? Also I don't think it has anything to do with tweaks or addons because I havent in a few days. On a side note I've noticed when installing anything from Cydia it says "low on memory, please delete some videos or pictures" but when I look into my settings and see the capacity and amount left it still has 8GB (16GB iPod)

Thank you for your answers and I'm going to sleep so I won't read the replies until the morning.

Might be fixed

I think after i deleted a bunch of useless/newly installed tweaks it fixed itself. So nvm this thread unless your springboard is reoccuringly crashing as well.
