My ip4 (AT&T) was jailbroken on 4.3.3 with the 1.59.00 bb. I used redsn0w 0.9.9b5 yesterday to upgrade to 5.0 while preserving my bb and then used redwn0w to jb. Ever since I did that, my springboard crashes constantly. I can go into an app (cydia or bitesms for example) but as soon as I hit the home button to get out of an app or double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar, the springboard crashes. Any idea what could be causing this?

Here's what I have installed from Cydia so far:

Activator
Airplane SBSettings Toggle
AppList
Autolock SBSettings
BigBos Icon Set
biteSMS (beta)
Bug Fix: Duplicate Icons
Bug Fix: Stuck Pages
Cydia Installer
Cydia Translations
dba-tech Common
Default HD SBSettings
Erica Utilities
Five Icon Dock
libdisplaystack
LibWeather
Lock Weather Plugin for LockInfo
LockInfo (beta)
Mobile Substrate
Popup Blocker
RSS Plugin for LockInfo
SBSettings
SBSettings ultrasn0w toggle
sbsettingstoggles
SemiTether
Serious SBSettings HD
Substrate Safe Mode
ultrasn0w
3G Unrestrictor

I can narrow it down to one of these apps:

"Activator
Airplane SBSettings Toggle
AppList
Autolock SBSettings
BigBos Icon Set
biteSMS (beta)
Bug Fix: Duplicate Icons

Basically, we have no enough information to ping point your issue, and it will be so hard to narrow it down with all those app running, if you want a stable phone you need to restore fresh and start over, install one app at the time, use it for a least a few hours before you install another one until you find the bad one.

Haha - thx:). I just checked the compatibility list and didn't see any of the apps listed as being incompatible with ios5 so I figured that someone here may have run into the same issue. I guess I can remove everything and start over though. Or does it make sense for me to run the newest version of redsn0w over the top of this one? I used b5 because that's what the tutorial I followed said to use, but it's obviously not the most recent version that's out.

Well it looks like popup blocker may have been the culprit. I removed it and I'm not getting those crashes anymore.
