So I'm just wondering if disabling one of the stock capabilities can cause battery drain? I disabled multitasking and now it seems like my battery is dropping like crazy. I also hid all of my icons and made two menus in activator to access them. Not sure if the extra use of activator is causing battery drain or disabling multitasking.

Any one have any opinions on this? Anyone else ever disable a stock capability and lose battery life?
 
Well lucky you, I can't say the same lol it's a constant battle for me with battery life.
 
Yup I actually just restored and upgraded to 5.1.1 about three weeks ago. Was getting amazing battery life first two weeks. Like 8 hours usage. It seems like my battery is very inconsistent. Doing the same exact things with the same signal one day will get me 7 1/2 to 8 hours usage one day and barely even five the next. It makes no sense. I have dwindled down my tweaks to only 8 tweaks and I just tried disabling multitasking today and it's dropping like a percent a minute =/

How does she handle with no jailbreak?

Activator
Album art on switcher (guess I can remove now)
Bite SMS*
Browser changer
Lockdown pro*
Mobile substrate
No lock screen
PDA net
Springtomize 2
Substrate safe mode

To be honest, I'm not sure. I didn't get the 4s until there was a jailbreak and I jailbroke the first day.

Maybe you should try, then if the battery life is good slowly add your tweaks back until you stumble upon the culprit :)
 
I knew that was going to be recommended lol

I really would rather not restore again though, adding 5,000 songs back on my phone is not an easy and quick task =/ I really do appreciate the help though, thank you.

Fair enough... How about taking all your tweaks off and seeing if that has any effect? That way you won't have to go through the restore process :)
 
I might end up doing that. I'll probably just enable multitasking again first to see if that's what caused it.
