I just got a new sim to transfer my Sprint line to my new iPhone 12 Pro Max.
To my surprise i got a 5G indicator asap after activating the iPhone 12 but using it for a few minutes made the back get real warm.
Not enough to burn me but to feel really uncomfortable and question if I want to put on a case given that heat...

Is this to be expected for 5G connectivity or could there be something wrong with my phone?
I turned off 5G and downgraded to LTE and immediately temp was tepid at the most on the backside of the phone.

Appreciate any insight. Cant remember what happened when LTE came out.

Thanks
