You can upgrade early for a fee.
One of my lines wasn't due for an upgrade until Jan 2015 so I paid $125 to upgrade early. So, everyone on my line can now get the iPhone 6.

How did you do that? Did you go on Sprint chat or called them? How far out advance I wonder can you do that? I got my iphone 5s last october and was going to purchase the phone full price.

Basically, look at the early termination fee chart and you will pay the early termination fee. They billed me for it and my line immediately said eligible for upgrade. I called customer care.

So it really isn't a "tip" it's just paying the rest of your contract off.

Well, no one knew that so it is a "tip". Don't be a troll.

Hes not trolling. A "tip" would be explaining how to get the upgrade for free. What you are doing is telling people how to pay their way out of it by ending their contract (which is hardly something "no one knew".)

Its a good heads up but there's no need to be upset for being called out on your subject line.

Thank you..Never thought about that or thought it was possible..If I do that will it show on my account immediately that I'm eligible?

Do you count when your contract ends or when your due for an upgrade? Sprint gives an upgrade around 3 months before contract is up. So which one do you count from?

Contract end date and mine was suppose to be $160 but the rep spoke with his supervisor then charged me $125.
