Sprint Deposit Needed?

Did anyone told while trying to open a new account or line they needed to make a deposit? A couple days ago, I tried opening an account through Sprint with the iPhone 4S and I didn't have any issues — we are going through Sprint bc my significant other gets a killer discount — but tonight when I got that message??? Did it happen to anyone else? Am I the only unlucky one? (I hope not.)

I really wanted our phones on launch day.

If its a new account, or new line that requires a credit check and the servers are slammed so they can't do it, you'll get this message.

I got it thru ATT via apple site as well. Said I didnt have an accoutn basically. I couldnt get it thru ATT site so I went to ATT premier site and it worked
