Sprint iPhone 4s unlock

Hello I purchased a sprint iPhone 4s I wanna unlock the sim slot. So I can use it internationally but I don't have an account with sprint. Can sprint still unlock it for me? Is there any other service service like AT&T imei unlocks to do it for sprint IPhones?

I think only options are having Sprint officially unlock it or use a gevey sim adapter.
