If I buy a Sprint iPhone 7 Plus from an Apple Store at full price.. will it be carrier unlocked?

I'm about to reserve an iPhone and the closest Apple Store only has the Sprint model in stock.. I need it to work with AT&T. I read only that the Sprint one is locked for the first 50 days.

You need to subscribe to Sprint for 50 days before they'll unlock it.
This is not true, I reserved a sprint phone at an Apple Store , bought it outright, took out the Sprint Sim, and put in my ATT sim and it worked fine.

Just make sure to take out the Sprint sim before turning on the phone

Have you had any trouble on the AT&T network with the sprint phone. The full price sprint from appears to be the same thing as the full price Verizon phone and nobody seems to have an issue using the Verizon phone on AT&T

No issues at all. The sprint phone and the Verizon phone are the exact same phone. Only difference is the Sim that came pre installed in the device. Check the model numbers and you'll see.
