Sprint max speed??

im currently have a samsung galaxy II, on tmobile... will i notice a huge decrease on speed??
There is no way to tell with what we know ... what are your current speedtest.net results (download the app)?
How is T-Mobile's coverage in your area? How is Sprint's?
But then.. My galaxy battery sucks, it last about 6-8h... not fully using it.. Then i have a macbook air, iMac, iPad2, apple tv, 2 airport express, 1 extreme, Lol everything apple but the phone. .. I use ical alot, and would like to start using icloud more... Now im out of contract with t-mobile and can actually get out of it... And the iphone was my first option but not sure if i want to lower internet speed
I know the new one will come out this year.. But dont really want to wait.. when it does ill just upgrade... (i know it will be full price)
I rarely get over 500kb and usually it's 0-200kb down and 100kb up. Often mine switches to the 2g/degree symbol forcing me to put it in airplane mode and back.
I had windows mobile and android handsets before with no problem getting ~1.5mb down the iPhone has been terrible everywhere I've gone. The phone has been replaced too for battery consumption issues.

ATT is very expensive
Sprint: $145 2 iphones.. 1500 min, unlimited data/sms
ATT: $199 2 iphones, 700 min, 5gb data, unlimited sms
can prob drop to 3gb data both phones, but that puts me at $160+taxes
I'm assuming this is a T-Mobile SGS2 you're talking about (SGH-T989)
If so, it sounds like you have a bad battery.
Get a replacement... they're not that expensive.
You should be able to get through an entire day with that particular phone unless you're using the hot spot feature a lot.
If you want to switch to AT&T but keep your GS2 until the next iPhone comes out, flash the AT&T radio and add their APN settings.
That way you can keep your upgrade eligibility.
The SGH-T989 and the SGH-i727 (Skyrocket) are essentially the same phone.
The only difference is the T989 lacks an LTE radio, but it does fully support AT&T's HSPA+ frequencies.

My wife gets 4 - 5 Mb/s down pretty much all the time on her iPhone.
I have a Skyrocket, so I'm on LTE all the time.

in Colorado last week I was getting about 2.2MB down on sprint. Normally in St. Louis I get 700k-1.2MN

Wife and I have the same setup.
We have the 450 Min shared family plan, unlimited messaging with unlimited mobile to any mobile and we both have unlimited data plans.
I pay a less than the $160 as I get a FAN discount on my plan from my work.
Grandfathered in from our original iPhone data plans from 2007.
I haven't had an iPhone for over a year now. Went Android with the Atrix 4G and never looked back.
AT&T let's the unlimited plan roll regardless of which device you get.
My wife prefers her iPhone.
I get a 23% discount.
Fan discounts vary by company and school. Some only discount voice service while others apply the discount to the total bill.
It all depends on how the contract terms were negotiated.
