Hello everyone! I have been looking all over Sprint's site to find the answer, but just couldn't. Here's my situation:

I am a current customer for Sprint, and my cell phone is an "added on" line to an existing family plan (I am not the account owner, but am related to them.) Sprint said I could deactivate the phone at any time, but didn't mention what the cost would be.

I would like use my iPhone with the number on my existing Sprint phone, so would use the method of transfering the number. If I do transfer the number, what then happens to the other Sprint phone? Apple said that the phone wouldn't receive calls, but does that mean that it is then deactivated? This is way confusing!

Also, by doing that method, could I just then return the phone to Sprint the next day, without having to sign anything or pay anything? If any of you have done this activation method, with any carrier, please tell me how you went about doing all of this! And, if any of you know where I can find an image (or images) of what that method looks like in iTunes, please post the link, it would be very helpfull!
