This is not a new problem for me as it's occurred with other phones, but I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions. Weekends I am in a roaming area (Verizon), so I'm limited to 1x speed. However, frequently all my calls go directly to voicemail. Not all of them, but at least 80-90% on some weekends. I realize this is a Verizon/Sprint handoff isssue of some kind, but with my previous phone I could set it for "roaming only", which prevented the phone from searching for a Sprint tower which isn't there. This not only increased my battery life, but also seemed to allow more calls to go through instead of to voicemail. Are there any settings on this phone that will allow a setting of "roam only"? If jailbroken, is that feasible?
