How can i get these off a DVD ?

Handbrake doesn't grab these and the "Foreign search (bitmap)" doesn't pick up anything.

When DVD played via VLC, subtitles so up, but not as a separate track.... (the "Subtitle" option is greyed out and there is no submenu.

However, subtitles appear. looking under Media info, there are 6 streams. one is the subtitles (Attached)
