Spyban adware prog accused of doing its own spying

For any of you who have PC using relatives/friends/family. Please give them this heads up. If there are fortunate to be using SpyBot instead, then there is no need to panic.

i wonder if there are spyware things for mac, i hope ppl dont get any ideas

There is a program called MacScan X. I haven't used it because when I first got it it told me that it needed root access and I had to authenticate. That caused alarms to go off in my head. Apparently it doesn't work anymore it says something like the verion has expired. You can check it out at version tracker.

If you pay for a full version and he doesn't like you he can go into your program and delete the information.

I don't want to know what else he has access too... After the allegations were proven true...

It is expired... and you really don't need it for mac os X since there is none expect the program and phones home and the developer who can revoke that you bought the software...
