SpyCam connected to viewfinder of D40x

Hi everyone, Im brand new to this forum and of coarse I need some help . So I'm setting up to do a stopmotion piece and I'm setting up my DSLR with a little spycam looking through the viewfinder for a live feed video assistant with a frame grabber program, like frametheif. it looks somthing like this

so I ordered this spycam off of ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350023554701

I know I have to get a little converter for the plug it comes with to make it analog, I'm told thats cheap and i cand find it anywhere. But now I'm searching for the analog to digital converter to be able to plug it into my computer and I'm goin crasy . The little I've skimmed through this says that the usb ones that Ive found (even though they seem to only be for PCs anyway ) are crap. I don't think I need anything fancy, I'm really looking for somthing cheap. I need lots of suggestions and links!

why are you making things so complicated?
from your description it seems you take an analog spycam and want to digitize the feed to view it on your computer. correct?

If I needet a setup like the one you need, i'd do it this way:

for liveview:
-connect a cheap usb webcam and let it look thru the viewfinder

shooting:
-connect the D40 to the computer (usb cable) and control it via CameraControlPro (tethered shooting)
