spyder 3 calibration with 30 acd help

calibration went fine...the colors matches my prints at the local lab but not the exposure/brightness...

my prints are always dark compared to the monitor...the apple monitor is very bright...what to do?...turn it all the way down?...

help please!

have you put the gamma to 2.2 Television? Mac OS X defaults to 1.8.
