I uninstalled limewire by moving it to the trash bin and searching limewire and deleting that stuff also. i was wondering if there is any spyware with it that you cannot uninstall or is hard to find? will limewire still look at whats on my computer and share it?

there's spyware in Limewire? Ok, should all mac users delete Limewire files?
I'm on a Powerbook..

There is no such thing as Macintosh spyware. No, Lime-wire is not spyware. Acquisition is much better though. Limewire is a horrible port of a PC program, but Acquisition is a Mac-only, Mac-like application designed by Mac users that accesses the same network.

so if i dragged the icon to the trash and other files that had limewire in the title, my computer will be ok and everything would have been removed?

my main question is: are there any other folders that contain limewire folders that are not listed with the name "limewire" and if limewire installs any folders into other parts of the hard drive that aren't delete when you uninstall?

limewire's reputation is not that bad. don't worry too much
anyway, to p2p, aMule is better coz it is using the biggest p2p network.
