I know that everyone says Apple doesn't need any virus protections, etc, but I'd feel a lot safer with a spyware removal tool or any virus checker/protection program.

Does anyone have any recommendations? thanks.

The free anti-virus software of choice for Mac users is ClamXav. You can't get anti-spyware programs for Mac...no one has taken the time to write one since there is no spyware for Macs.

Edit: I take back that last comment...there's MacScan. I wouldn't bother with it, but feel free to give it a go if you're that paranoid.

Feeling a lot safer by having an "anti-spyware" tool is a LOT different than actually being safer by having the program.

You don't need one. You really, really don't need one.

You really dont. Its hard to break away from the want for spyware tools after using PCs for so long
