SQL Query's for begginers

Hello Guy's let's see if anyone can help me with this.

Lets say I got a data base with it's structure, is there any software for mac that helps me get the wight query to get information from a table.

Example:
Database Name: magel
Table Name: Meta

I need to get from meta all the key's description_jp and order them decently.

I know it's not hard but is there any software that can help do this graphically with out knowing much and trow the query to put in php?.

phpMyAdmin - there's a create PHP query link for different queries and it shows the queries as you browser the DB.

or read some tutorials. Queries are very easy to learn if you're just doing basic stuff.
