iPod Square ipod, would you buy it?

Personally, I think the proposed design for the new iPod's is ugly. I like my iPod's brick-shaped, not looking like a White Chocolate-covered Klondike Bar (Or a regular chocolate-covered Klondike Bar for the black iPod). I think Apple should utilize that technique of buying extra space to give iPod's larger screens without making them any larger than they are currently.

Though it seems like it would be ugly, it makes sense to change the form factor to differentiate from the zune. With a second gen zune sure to be slimmer and more attractive (yet still a rectangle), it would probably look very similar to an iPod with a rotated screen.
The "blackberry" shape doesn't appeal to me at all now, but when I first saw the 5G iPods, I thought they were ugly as well. Now I think they look fine
I doubt that I would buy a more square iPod. The form factor it carries now (which is somewhat similar to the iPhone's rectangular form) seems to be a very comfortable and easy to handle device, as it fits well in one's hand and can be used by only one hand, too. The more square look would not appeal as much, and it would probably require two hands to use it in some cases. Just doesn't seem like something Apple would do, when it comes to overlooking the touchscreen iPod possibility for a more awkward feel, which would be disappointing to many consumers as previously stated.
Poll Question: would you buy the square ipod if that is what is released?

Is my hand square? No. So why would I want to hold a square device instead of the hand-conforming rectangle they have now?
Yes that was the question.
But the given responses are obviously slanted:
- Yes, i would buy the ugly square ipod.
- No, apple blew it with this.
So it is not much of a poll.
I could see a simple yes or no response. That would make sense.
But how could anybody answer either "Yes, i would buy the ugly square ipod" or "No, Apple blew it with this" when we don't even know what it looks like? A square iPod may end up being the hottest thing since sliced bread. But until we see it, we cannot say. Make sense?
As for my original square comment with regards to the Shuffle, you must realize that I live in Japan and there are so many varied options out there for portable music players, including cubic ones that are very small, that I sometimes forget the US perspective -- which is rather limited relatively speaking with regards to portable music players.
Anyhow, I am pretty sure that Apple will have done enough research that if they desire to introduce a new iPod form factor, they will introduce a good design.
