Anyone who have experience with both? What's the pros and cons of each option? Please enlighten. Thank you!!

The only issue is that if you submit a claim early on (say 3 months of coverage), you've used up your $100 but if you have monthly payments, you only wasted basically $18. Am I thinking correctly here?

Get Applecare for another year on Amazon or Ebay for about $35 and be done with it.

How did you come up with $288. It's $5.99 a month for 24 months. So that's $100.00 vs $143.76 by my calculation.:D

Also apple care does not cover accidental damage and squaretrade does.

Woops. I multiplied by 48. Point is, you pay some interest.

i'm planning on going through squaretrade since their service is great. also you can usually find some coupons online to get the squaretrade warranty for cheaper.
