New to forum and was looking at insurance for the Iphone4 and saw Squaretrade.....

Wondering if anybody has any other alternatives or are they the way to go?

Thx and btw I am new here :D:D:D

Just get a decent case and don't drop it.

I am worried alot about the "moisture" indicators turning red cause I run alot and sweat more than most people and want to avoid voiding the "apple warranty" cause of sweat.. I read it happening to people here before :)

Squaretrade is good. I like the fact that if you cancel the coverage before the 2 years is up, the will give you back the prorated difference.

slickphone4 = 35% DISCOUNT on Squaretrade

just ordered it yesterday. it gets good reviews, and since i expect to have this phone for 2 years (or until i see the iP5) I wanted to make sure. Use the code "slickphone4" to get 35% off order. Plus you can do 24 monthly payment of under 5 bucks, if you would rather that than 85 at once.

Problems

I WANT to buy the Squaretrade Warranty, but after filling in all the appropriate info, including the fact that I bought it from the Apple Store/ Apple.com, it tells me that the "Extended Coverage" is not available from this merchant", and bumps me down to a lesser warranty.

Is anyone else seeing this happen?

Why would they disallow that coverage for the main/major merchant?

Hmmm i am trying to pick Iphone 4 16 GB but it defaults to Item: iphone 8gb

??? Anybody having this issue?
