Squeaking MBP!?!

Hey guys and gals,

I have had my SR MBP for about 3 months now and I have just noticed that whenever i press the space bar it squeaks, like it needs to be oiled or something. It is super annoying. Will Apple cover something like this (I have AppleCare) and can i bring it to my local Apple Store and have them just fix it there?

yes, some reported this issue here before and some say it stopped squeaking after a while.

same here with my CD MBP.

it hasnt stopped squeeking yet

you could just remove the key a put a tiny bit of oil there. my brother poured icetea on his alu pbook keyboard, it got sticky and i removed and clean all the keys, it's not hard if you are carefull.

do you remove the keys from the back or the front?? on my mbp it looks like it will snap the thing off.. im not sure if thats diff to the al pbook tho..
