Hi all just picked up a used MBP 13. Its the mid 09 version with 2.53 ghz core 2 duo. I am transferring from a Win 7 machine and was wanting to bring over my Squirrel information (aliases and drivers) any thoughts on how to do that or where the information is stored in OSX? Thanks for any help!

This would be a good question to post on the SQuirreL users mailing list (squirrel-sql-users@lists.sourceforge.net).

But to answer your question, all of your preferences are kept in <user.home>/.squirrel-sql. Specifically, aliases and drivers are kept in xml files in this folder called SQLAliases23*.xml and SQLDrivers.xml.

Just zip up the .squirrel-sql folder, copy it onto your new machine in your home directory and unzip it. Then launch SQuirreL and all of your alias/driver and preferences settings will be there.

Thanks for the quick response Rob. I thought about posting there but I didnt see a lot of Mac support there. I will keep that in mind for the future.
