Hi,

I did an "Erase and Install" on my sister's new Santa Rosa Macbook to save some hard disk space. However, the function keys (for volume, Expose, etc.) are now all incorrect. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it besides manually tweaking everything individually?

How do you mean?
I did the exact same thing on mine, so for example if you press F1 on its own it'll decrease the brightness of the screen and then you have to press Fn + F1 to activate the F1 function. I know, its a little counter intuitive.

I have same problem here.

I just upgraded my harddisk and reinstall the OSX. The function key setup is lost. like F3 'widget' have changed to f10.

I did the setting in system reference but some function is not availabile like f7 to f12. any1 know how setup?

Make sure you have this checked or unchecked, depending on what you want:
