SR MacBook Wireless Problems w/ External Monitor

I just got my new display in the Mail. I plugged it into my Macbook and right away my wireless was pretty much not working. Unplug the display and really fast again. Anyone else have this problem here? I have read about others with the same issue in the apple discussions. Not sure what to do.

Are you closing the MacBook's lid while the display is connected? If so, this is probably diminishing the Wi-Fi reception.

nope, lid open or closed has the same result. There is a discussion that it might be a power issue.

I am having similar problem with me SR MBP, I am loosing connection w/ my external display easily, not even closing lid.
