Hey guys, i have a santa rosa MBP that i got back when they came out, jun 07? 08? either way, the original battery stopped charging so i got a 3rd party battery which worked fine for about 12 months, then it died so i went back to an OEM apple batter, which lasted only 3 months before no longer charging. Any ideas? Could there be something wrong with the mac thats killing batteries?

I take it that the OEM battery is another Apple branded one? You are still under warranty. Do you have an logging data over from an application like Coconut Battery on the battery? Killer laptops can have a wide variety of cause. Though the most usual one is an electrical one on the logic board.
