I dropped my SS watch this morning putting it on with motorcycle gloves and the screen popped off. I do not see any cracks and didn’t see any obvious glue separation. The battery looks fine so it is like $199 to repair the watch from my brief research and that’s not worth it. I pushed it back on and it appears to be set back in place. Does anyone know if it snaps, glued, or how the screen is held on? Any cheap alternative? Get my $50 trade in and buy a new watch?

My mom has a series 0 and her screen popped off. She glued it back down with elmers months ago and it’s fine.

I just ended up using thin pad and pressing it back in firmly. I have been wearing it for two days without issue. Surprised no one seems to know or cares to comment on the assembly.

The display is attached by adhesive from the factory, and there are two ribbons that connects from the display to the main board. What you could do if the display pops out again, is find some clear/strong adhesive, use a small amount and reseal it. At least, that’s what other members have done in your situation.
