just did a few upgrades to my MBP in addition to OS lion. i was thinking about doing a 1TB optibay but no one makes a 7200rpm hard drive yet so i went with the 750gb. SSD works great and i have no complaints except for price, hehe.

Congrats on getting all that working! I upgraded the RAM and installed an SSD myself. I'm still kind of confused on how having a second hard drive works and how useful it is:confused:.... I do love the SSD though. Hope you do too.

yes!. .. loving the SSD. i use my MBP for music purposes. i felt constricted with my 250GB hard drive and @ the end of the week i would always have to go through the hdd and decide what to delete.

running pretty smooth thus far?

yup. wish i remembered to remove my SL OS cd from the cdrom before removing it..:confused:

Seems like many machines are getting upgrades lately. Just installed a 1TB HD in my optical drive caddy.

nice. how is it? i'm guessing its the 5400rpm drive? i was debating on getting that but i wasn't sure how it would perform in the optibay

Oh no...guess youll have to go the whole nine yards and get an owc enclosure for your optical drive too..

I thought about doing this but i use mine too much.
