Same one I have installed in mine works great. Make sure you update it to the latest firmware.

Would you mind pointing me to the guide you used to complete this upgrade? I'm a bit confused about what additional parts are required to get the job done. I thought I was on track, but I just learned that the 2010 and 2011 iMac models require different adapters and cables to add an SSD.

Thanks!

Nathan

Thanks. Just ordered this and can't wait to get it installed.

Are you installing as the only drive or with a HDD also?

I need to replace my HDD and hope to add an Sdd also in the process. Let me know what you end up getting. I think there is some kit. Also, are there any thermal sensor considerations we need to be aware of with the Sdd in a mid-2010 27" i7?

I had this installed with a 2TB HDD. It works perfect and for video encoding it is a big step up.
