SSD and Sierra in my 2009 MacBook!

Today the 256 GB solid state drive I bought off eBay came in the post, and I swapped out the 5400-RPM hard drive in it for the SSD, then did a clean install of macOS 10.12 Sierra using that Sierra install patch thing! So far, it works pretty well, as it boots up noticeably faster, and some programs also start up quicker as well. Though with Sierra, the trackpad doesn't function like it normally does; to do a right-click, I have to do it the "old school" way by holding down the control key while clicking. But since I also did this back when I had a PowerMac G4, I imagine I'll get used to it soon, at least until that problem is addressed.

Due to the SSD being smaller than the 500 GB drive that was previously in it, I had to cut back on certain files and programs, especially since it's not my main computer anymore (I typically use it when I'm at my college or on the road.) I'm getting an external USB 1 TB hard drive though, for carrying extra data with me and for any video work I may do on the MacBook.

I also ordered a replacement internal SuperDrive to replace the broken one in my MacBook; I'm going to swap it out and see what happens, so I don't always have to take my USB Blu-Ray burner with me.
