Hello All!

I'm once again seriously thinking about ordering a fully loaded IMac. I would like to know what make and model of SSD Apple is using with their 2013 builds.

Many Thanks!

The Samsung PCIe SSDs used by Apple are based on the Samsung XP941, but are of a different shape.

Apple uses a proprietary PCIe connector, so regular M.2 SSDs won't fit into a Mac's PCIe slot.

The performance of a 512GB PCIe SSD in the iMacs and rMBPs are 750MB/s read and 720MB/s write.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for.
