SSD Drive in Macbook 2007?

Can I put this SSD drive:

in my late 2006/early 2007 MacBook 2.1?

You can, although the speed is going to be limited by the older SATA that is in the computer. I still think it's a worthwhile investment, as it will speed up the computer a great deal.

iBookG4user is right. I have an older MacBook with an OWC SSD in it, and even though I don't get the full speed out of it, the difference is AMAZING. Best choice I ever made.

And look at OWC. It's a little cheaper.

Thanks guys.
I did it and the process went as smooth as silk.
Used carbon copy cloner to clone my existing drive to the new SSD using a rosewill 2.5 SATA enclosure I got from newegg for $12, then swapped out the drives.

The speed difference is amazing especially with photoshop and word.
