Hey guys,
I recently got a new iMac and had it outfitted with three internal SSDs via OWC's Turnkey Program. Now, every time I go into sleep mode, upon waking, one of the non-OS SSDs has ejected and I get the dreaded "The drive was not properly ejected" warning. To resolve, I simply have to restart.
Oddly, the problem got worse after upgrading to Mountain Lion. It used to occur once every few days, but now it happens every time.
Anyone have any workarounds or ideas? I don't think it's a loose connection (fingers crossed??), just a software issue considering a restart always does the trick.
Specs:
27" iMac
3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2GB GDDR5
2 x 480GB OWC Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD (6Gb/s)
1 x 240GB OWC Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD (6Gb/s) (with Mountain Lion)
32GB DDR3 1333MHz [4 x 8GB]
Thanks in advance,
Chris
