2 years ago I upgraded SSD to 500G for my Macbook pro (retina) late 2012. This year I replaced it all with a 2018 Macbook pro but decided to keep the 500G SSD. My previous enclosure for the replaced SSD wasn't very well built so I want to get a new enclosure, but clearly it's not a big market and few companies offer this kind of product. I would like to know if anyone had a similar situation as me and what enclosure did you get for the SSD.

I believe SSD has an M.2 port.

Didn't the retina 2012 have a proprietary SSD connection?
What is your 500GB SSD model name?
