Hi All,

I'm currently using a early 2008 Mbp,
wanting to change for a faster speed HD , SSD

I know that my model is a 1.5GBps and right now the latest Mbp has a 6GBps with SATA 3,

but can I buy a SATA 3 SSD to work on my early 2008 Mbp,
so in the future when I get a faster Mbp,
I can just swap over the SATA 3 SSD.

does a SATA 3 SSD support on my SATA 1.5 early 2008 Mbp?

Yes, you can. S-ATA 3.0Gbps is backwards compatible.
