I'm currently looking for the perfect SSD for my MacBook Pro 13, 2011 Model
Perfect for me means:
-Very reliable
-Quick
-Easy install (meaning I don't have to go out and buy a SATAIII cable)
I'm looking at these drives
Samsung 128GB Solid State Drive MZ-5PA128
-Apple's SSD's of choice are Samsung and Toshiba
-Not the fastest, but if Apple picked it, it will probably be reliable.
Intel 320 Series 120 GB
-Intel seems to fail less
-Would put 510 series on my list, but I have heard of issues with it and the 2011 Macbook Pro Models
OCZ 120 GB Vertex 3
-Some of my friends swear by these, I'm just hesitant because of reliability issues.
----
My research is based on late night google searches, Amazon product reviews, and my excursions into lurking on the MacRumors forums. If I'm wrong about anything, please feel free to correct me.
Also feel free to suggest a SSD drive not on the above list.
Thanks!
