I want to upgrade my hdd( stock 320GB) to sad.

Which ssd would be the best in performance and no compatible issues???
I am considering this OCZ Vertex 4 128GB... Is it a good choice??

Which bay are you going to install the SSD?

The Optical bay is limited to 3 Gigabit and to take full advantage of the SSD it needs to be installed in the main HDD bay which is 6 Gigabit.

The OCX Vertex will work and is a quick drive. I considered that drive but ended up going for the Samsung 840 Pro.

I would replace my HDD with the SSD. I would not change anything in the optibay..
Actually Samsung SSD are not available in India..

I previously ran a OCZ Vertex 3 MAX in a 13inch 2011 MBP - worked great. Update firmware native in Mac OS X. Go for it!
