I'm looking for an SSD to replace my current 5400RPM 500GB drive in my MBP. I currently use 216GB of my drive. I was considering getting this 480GB SSD from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/OCZ-Technology-2-5-Inch-Performance-AGT3-25SAT3-480G/dp/B00566FEUO since the 360GB drive didn't seem much cheaper. Does anyone have a better recommendation for me? I'd rather have some wiggle room and would prefer something bigger than a 256GB SSD. However, with the money I save, I might want to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB of RAM.

Thanks in advance for your help!

OCZ makes quality SSDs. Intel and OWC are some other good options. I wouldn't skimp on the hard drive space in favor of RAM; unless you are doing computationally intensive tasks.

Cheers
