I currently have a Macbook air that I purchased back in March 2011 with a 128GB SSD. I'm looking to purchase a new 27" iMac when they eventually come on sale and was going to invest in a fusion drive however I have read that in addition to the 1TB hard drive that the iMac comes with there is also a slot for you to install your own SSD inside the machine. Does anybody know if it would be possible for me to put this SSD from my MBA into the iMac with some kind of adapter? I really need more space on my MBA and I was intending on buying a bigger SSD for it and by doing this I would be killing two birds with one stone.
