SSD/HDD Adapter

I beg your pardon if someone has already discussed this, but I could not find that discussion.

I would like to add a SSD drive to my late 2008 MacBook Pro. While trying to decide which drive to buy, I have found this accessory:

that would allow me to use the SSD for the OS and apps, and the classic HD for the data.

Is there anyone who has already purchased that or know how it behaves?
