I tried searching this topic but most of what I found was the an alternative method, and troubleshooting problems. So I made this thread to ask some general questions I'm sure most users know already.

I plan on getting a 2011 15" MBP and putting a 320 intel SSD where my original HDD would be, and put my old HDD where the superdrive is/was.

So I've read you need an optibay to install the HDD where the super drive was, but I can't seem to find any on newegg, microcenter etc....
Is there a different more general name for it? And who makes them? ie where can I buy them? And what "size" / type works with apple HDD?

Also how do I install OS X onto my SSD with my superdrive?
Can I copy the files from the disk to a flash drive, and install from the flash drive?

And any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you very much, I saw that thread already it kinda scares me >.<
So after reading posts it seems like the amazon/ebay versions is just fine for me.

So will this http://www.amazon.com/Drive-Module-...3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1308715383&sr=1-3 work in a 15" 2011 MBP with apples stock HDD?

(I know it's annoying, but knowing it is the type I need provides lots of peace of mind, so thanks)
Yes.
You'll probably also need/want an external drive enclosure for the super drive.
