Hi,
I guess, HDD is not user upgradable...right ? in iMac 2012 ?
so, how much Apple charges to replace HDD ? just in case ? $300 -$400 ??

Then, i think i would be worth it to get SSD instead...so u get faster performance, and chances are you might not need to replace/upgrade it in 3-5 years... There are more chances that HDD gets fails in 1-2 years..

Don’t no, even if Apple covers HDD failures within the 1st year of warranty period..

what do you say ?

Apple will cover either the HDD or SSD during warranty, but if you can afford it an SSD is much much faster and really worth it.

I say they're overrated and not worth the money, especially if you have a lot of RAM. Then again, I'm not you.
