Ssd MacBook pro problems

So I installed an ocz sad in my c2d 2.16 mbp. I cloned the drive using ccc but after running it for awhile and cycling power I get the flashing folder.

I've erased the drive and installed the os from scratch. Cycled power and same thing is there anything I'm missing? Any ideas?

Have you tried reseting the PRAM? (CMD+OPT+P+R at boot)
If you option boot the machine, does the drive show up?

Cleared pram and nothing same thing

When I boot from snow leopard DVD the drive is shown

When i verify the disk it gives me a node error in disk utility.
